Destination Covered:
Leh – Sangam – Nubra Valley – Pangong Lake – Tso Moriri Lake – Tso Kar – Leh

 

Day 01: Arrive Leh
Received by our representative and transferred to Hotel. Complete rest for the first half. After lunch if suitable visit the sun set famous Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, and Market. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Leh.

Day 02: Leh – Sangam – Hall of Fame – M.hill – Gurudwara Pather Sahib
After breakfast, drive on a full-day excursion to Sangam View where the Indus and Zanskar rivers meet. You may opt for river rafting (own cost), Magnetic Hill, or Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Drive back to visit Spituk Monastery – home for the wish-fulfilling Kali Mata and Hall of Fame – a war memorial Museum. Overnight stay at a hotel in Leh.

Day 03: Leh – Nubra Valley via Khardongla Pass
After a leisurely morning breakfast drive to Nubra Valley (The valley of flowers) via Khardung-la, (18300 feet) considered one of the highest motorable roads in the World. The view from the top of the passes is amazing. One can see all the way south over the Indus Valley to the seemingly endless peaks. After exploring we drive toward the down Hunder past an area of rolling sand dunes, one can see a double hump Camel, and visitors can take a camel safari (Own cost) here. Dinner and overnight in Nubra Valley.

Day 04: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shayok
After breakfast at the hotel, we drive to the next destination, Pangong Lake via Shyok, and onto Tangtse and Spangmik (Pangong). Just a few km drive from Hunder, visit Disket Monastery and later continue your drive towards Pangong, the road follows the Shyok River and climbs up a mountain before finally descending into Shayok village, the entire setting being very picturesque. Afternoon we reach at Pangong Lake and enjoy your day at Pangong Lake and observe the majestic Lake. Overnight stay in Cottages/camps.

Day 05: Pangong Tso – Tso Moriri
Drive to Tsomoriri Lake. It is a breathtaking journey on a trail that is literally a ‘no man’s land’. Vast lonely stretches on the Changthang plateau make this drive one of the best-isolated drives of this tour. En route visit the faraway settlement of Chushul. Tsomoriri is situated at an altitude of 4511m above sea level; with an area of about 140 sq. km. Spend your evening watching the shadows of the surrounding mountain and the varying depths of Tsomoriri Lake. Stay in tented cottages at Tso Moriri.

Day 06: Tsomoriri – Tsokar – Taglangla – Leh
After breakfast retrace the route down to Puga Sumdo and then follow the road across the Polokongka Pass (4920 mtrs) to visit Tsokar Lake, a Salt Lake system in the Rupsho plateau which is home to the Changa nomads and supports many rare wildlife species. After sightseeing the area take the Manali-Leh road to return to Leh, crossing Taglang-la Pass (alt: 17,585ft) en route visit Shey palace and Thiksey Monastery and Rancho school, Arrive at the hotel in Leh for dinner and overnight.

Day 07: Leh Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel & drop at the Airport for the return journey with sweet memories of the Ladakh Tour.
